Reviews for Azzam Restaurant
Review highlights
Based on 6,783 reviewsAzzam Restaurant in Berlin is widely praised for its authentic Middle Eastern and Lebanese cuisine, attracting a loyal local customer base. Reviewers consistently highlight the generous portion sizes and affordability, making it an excellent value for money. The food quality and taste receive strong commendations, with particular appreciation for traditional Levantine dishes. The restaurant operates on a self-service model, which can lead to busy periods and limited staff interaction, but customers consider this a fair trade-off for the authentic experience and quick service. Complimentary tea is a noted perk. While the atmosphere is simple and unpretentious, the focus remains firmly on delivering authentic flavors rather than ambiance, appealing to those seeking genuine Middle Eastern fare.
Great restaurant with authentic food from the Middle East. Portions are huge. And the taste is great. Food is delivered fast and prices are cheap.
The price is cheap and the portion is big. The tea is on the house. If you are not used to eating big portion, please choose something that you can share with others. I see lots of people throw away the food because of the big portion. The taste of the food is good. So I have nothing to complain about.
Self-service type of restaurant. The food is so good that there is always a big line waiting outside. The Syrian/Lebanese food there is very tasty, and very affordable. There isn’t much service though, you will need to get your stuff (your tea, they offer it for free) because everyone working there is super busy. Definitely worth it!
This is my favorite place to eat in all of Berlin. The food is delicious, abundant, and cheap. It’s definitely a place for the locals — I don’t think I’ve seen a single tourist here. It can be cutthroat during a rush, but that’s how you know the food is good. I always leave feeling full (and sleepy). It’s cash only, so don’t get caught lacking.
Best experience of Levantine cuisine for me. Try the Musabahha and the Fatta; they are like Chef’s delight. They give you a heavenly feeling . Go there for the food and don’t complain about the vibe or etc. since it’s as authentic as it can get.
Azam is a great spot for a quick and affordable meal. Their food is consistently good, and the prices are very reasonable. I've tried several of their dishes, and I've never been disappointed. The service is also friendly. If you're looking for a good value for your money, Azam is definitely worth checking out
This place is perfect. The best food, high quality and generous portions for affordable prices. Delicious, fresh meat, vegetables, pickles and bread. This place will leave you happy and full. Truly sensational!!
We really loved Fetah and Shish Tawuk with its accompaniments. Everything was really tasty in our view. Also the portion sizes are really big. However, It was also a bit difficult to get a seat as we need to place the order at the counter and find a seat by ourselves and then go back and take the items from the counter again when it's ready.
